Chef Susan has always been a foodie.  Her first food memories are connected to watching the women in her life (her mother, her two grandmothers, her great-grandmother, her great-grandmother's housekeeper, and her family's housekeeper) make home-made gefilte fish.  From there, Chef Susan was constantly in the kitchen, observing and learning at the cooking firm of Konner, Smith, Dimond, Denson, and Jacobs.

Chef Susan's love affair with food would continue to be a part of her life. Her friends would constantly ask when she was throwing a party, as they all knew that the food would be outstanding, creative, and eclectic. She knew all the right restaurants to go to, as her PDA was filled with Zagat's software that she customized with her own selections.

After taking cooking classes both locally and around the country, as well as graduating from the Culinary Business Academy with her Professional Personal Chef designation, Chef Susan decided to take a chance and see if she could build a business focused on healthy eating and assisting busy professionals with taking the food question off their busy plates. Chef Susan also received her Serv-Safe Food Safety Manager designation from the National Restaurant Association's Education Foundation.

Susan and her husband, Cary enjoy combining their love of travel with their love of food and wine, and try to discover new places to eat whenever they are out and about. Chef Susan also enjoys photography, meeting new people, discovering new eats in and around the Tampa, FL area, movies, music, volunteering whenever possible, working out (yoga and pilates), and watching the birds outside her lanai.
